Waxing is a temporary solution that provides a protective layer to your boat's exterior. Ceramic coating, on the other hand, is a long-lasting solution that provides a more durable layer of protection against environmental factors.
If your paint is rusted, chipping and fading due to clear coat failure, the only option to fix that is a repaint. A clay bar, polish, wax or ceramic coating will not be able to help.
We do not recommend it as the ceramic coating will not properly bond with the paint clear coat and will reduce its durability.
We will show you how to take care of it and which products you can obtain to take care of it on your own, however we are happy to maintain it for you on a regular basis.
The longevity of ceramic coatings on boats can vary depending on several factors, including the quality of the coating, the application process, and the environmental conditions to which the boat is exposed. However, generally marine ceramic coatings typically last up to 2 seasons. If you properly take care of your boat, you may even see 3-5 years of protection.
